Las Vegas Here we come!

The kids and I are going to visit with Family for turkey day. We are all pretty excited! Wish Sean could come too, but this will be some much needed study time for another law school semester finals. Only a few more years to go. ...sigh.... It'll be worth it.
It's been kinda tough with all the little bugs and viruses sneaking through our family. We are just trying to stay healthy. Poor Forrest had strep while I had tonselitis and Baby Angelina had some kind of viral thing going on. Forrest is better and I think Angelina is mostly over hers as well. I am feeling better as I finish off the antibiotics. Now Emilee is sick with some kind of bug. Poor kid. I had to keep her home today and it looks like tomorrow too because she came down with a fever.
Meanwhile my superman is trying to crankout a 20 page paper for school. Go Sean! He is such a trooper. I am thankful for his work ethic. He is determined to finish.

Life is good. We are so blessed to be together.

On another note we traded our lil' old Cadi in for a Nissan Quest minivan. Now we have a bit more room for the car seats. Emilee can actually get to her own seat belt now without having to dig under another carseat. YEAH!!! This makes it quite a bit easier for mommy.

Angelina is trying so hard to crawl. She is almost there. She can turn herself around in a circle and roll over. She was 14 lbs 12 oz. at her 4 mo. visit. I took her in last week because she had a fever and she weighed in at over 16 lbs. Wow! Milk does do a body good! She is already in 6-9 month clothes and still growing. That's my 5mo old. She has learned to giglle and laugh, especially at Emilee. She just loves her big sis.

Emilee is reading small books and excited about it. I am so thankful for that.
Forrest is now pretending to read. He wants to be like his big sis.
Angelina is just trying to keep up with the two.
As for me I am keeping busy trying to do laundry and sell Scentsy.

Flu...Yuck!

The whole week we spent battling the flu. It went through our whole family. Not fun. Thanks to friends we were able to have Blessings and recovered a lot faster. Thanks to all who called and wished us better. Emilee is back at school. Forrest is back to making discoveries around the house. I am still recovering. Trying to catch up on cleaning the house and laundry. No fun. I am glad to be back on my feet.

Help Small Businesses

On Oct. 12 Help Small Businesses by shoppping at small bussiness.

Our goal is to inspire 100,000 people to spend an extra $50 at locally owned small businesses on or after October 12, 2009. That’s a $5 million economic infusion that can create a ripple effect in communities across the nation.

Small businesses are at risk. By spending just $50 at a local small business and encouraging others to do the same, we can bring hope and collectively contribute to lives and livelihoods in our local communities.

This is a great way to help out our local community. Times are tough let's help each other out!

Kindergarten Bound

Emilee is getting ready for Kindergarten. She was really excited. Now I think she might be getting a little bit nervous. I know she is ready. She is already adding and subtracting. She can write her alphabet and she is starting to learn to spell simple words like cat, hat, etc. She knows her address and can write her full name. She is trying to learn to sound out words. Hopefully I can get her to start reading a little bit.

Forrest is repeating everything he hears. He will be 3 years behind Emilee in school. He is getting bigger and bigger everyday. He will probably outgrow Emilee in a year. He is very tall for his age. Sean and I have to constantly remind ourselves that he is only 2 1/2. He is also potty training right now. He likes to wear "big boy" pants. His favorites are Star Wars.

Angelina is 2 months old now. She weighs 10 pounds and is 22" tall. She is growing every day.
I love to hold her and she loves to be held. She wiggles so much. She will be rolling over before I know it.

I love being a mom. It is very challenging, but well worth the struggle. I am so thankful that the Lord has blessed my life with three beautiful loving children and a best friend to share my love and life with. Sean really is my superman. I don't know what I would do without him. He is the back bone of our family. He keeps us strong and all together. Especially when I feel like I am loosing the daily battle of trying to keep my kids happy and my own sanity. He lifts me up when I fall. I love him so much. I thank God for him.

Thanks to all those that keep us in your prayers. We feel your love. And thank you for believing in us. Heavenly Father sends us Angels to watch over us. They are called FRIENDS. Thank you for being there for us.

She's HERE!!!!

Hello baby Angelina Michelle Forbush. Okay Here's the scoop.
My water broke around 8am. I called Sean. I called Ami. I called the doctor.
Dressed the kids. Drove to Ami's. Drove to the doctor.
Yes my water did brake. DUH! 2nd daughter, 2nd time water breaking.
The doctor examined me. You baby is breached. HUH? Her foot is down, head up. Looks like a c-section.
My reaction, "okay, well three's a charm. Let's go."
The nurse wheeled me over to the hospital side (Centennial) and Sean drove the car around.
I was prepped and off to the surgery. Sean was such a sport he stayed by my side and comforted me.
10:23 am Angelina graced us with her presence. She is a little Angel. She weighed in at 6 lbs 12 oz. 18 1/2" long.
While Sean went with Angelina to be cleaned up, the doctors went to work putting me back together. They wheeled me down to recovery where I was able to bond with my new little bundle of joy. The nurses, doctors, anesthesiologist, and staff were great.
I spent Thursday-Sunday at the hospital recovering.
Emilee and Forrest were so excited to see their new baby sister on Thursday.
My father-in-law flew in Friday to help out. I am so grateful for family. I sure needed the extra help. On Sunday we checked out of Centennial. It is kinda funny. The same nurse that checked me out with Forrest also checked Angelina and I out this time too.
We drove passed church as everyone was getting ready to go home (2pm) from our ward. It was kinda weird driving passed church on Sunday without attending it.
When we arrived at home Emilee, Forrest and my Dad were there to great us with enthusiasm.

So far we are taking it day by day. I feel great and I am recovering quickly. Angelina is doing great. We had to go in for a check up for Jaundice but lil' Angelina is doing better and we are good until our next check up. I thank the Lord for the blessing of all of our children. I never knew I could love someone so much. I guess it is just a hint of how much Heavenly Father loves us. We are truly blessed.

Thanks to all those gourmet cooks for the delicious dinners. My family is so grateful for your support. My husband is so funny. "If the food is this good we might have to plan on the next baby soon." I told him to give me a few months. We will have to acquire the yummy recipes.

Thanks to everyone that has offered to help. We appreciate your willingness to serve.

Countdown to baby girl

Well today I survived. I have 4 1/2 weeks to go. I am hoping for atleast another week.
I take it day by day. I went to the store with Emilee today and that was enough to put me to bed early tonight. I'm exhausted. I hope I can sleep good tonight. This morning I woke at 2am again with more false labor pains. Eventually I went back to sleep. Sean thankfully let me sleep in. And I even had a nap today! WhooHooo!!! On top of trying not to go in to labor I have some kind of head cold going on. Thank goodness for tylenol cold, kleenex, and halls.
I'm just taking it one day at a time.
I am so excited to have my baby girl come soon. I just hope she waits a little bit longer. I just want her to be healthy. I can't wait until family comes. I will enjoy and appreciate the extra help!

hospital trip

So I thought I was going into labor this morning. I couldn't tell how far apart the contractions were. So I put in a load of laundry, took a shower, double checked my hospital bag, and called my doctor. Yes laundry. I couldn't sleep so why not.
My doctor said go to the hospital. ( I'm 35 weeks, 5 to go).
The nurse hooked me up to a monitoring device. Yes I was having contractions. I find out that I am also a little dehydrated. So I had to down two jugs of water take a sleeping pill and I got to come home. False alarm.
Wow. So now I am wondering when I am going to go into labor again. I still feel some of the contractions but lil' Angelina Michelle isn't ready yet. That's okay with me. I just hope I can sleep tonight.
Thanks to everyone that helped out today!
Kudos to Ami for coming to my rescue!

8 weeks to baby

Emilee's b-day is Friday. Her party is Saturday. I have to deliver invites today. Yikes! So much to do.
Forrest is my lil' helper #2, Emilee is helper #1. I am so fortunate that they help me so much.

Sean is approaching semester finals again. Yeah! He's taking a break this summer from law school to hang out with all of us ( especially our new baby).

I am counting the weeks and days until our precious little one comes. I had to go and get one more outfit from Kohls saturday because I am outgrowing my clothes again. I still have almost 2 months left. Wow. We are so excited.

I am still staying busy keeping up with my two lil' angels, attempting to keep my house clean, but failing miserably, and trying to remember that the clothes don't wash themselves. HAHA!

I have been working hard sewing more and more baby blankets. Please get the word out. I need to sell these. Prices may be negotiable.

Thanks to all my friends for keeping me sane through the days past. Especially my lil red head. She keeps my brain intact on most days when I can't seem to remember what I am doing. Which unfortunately doesn't look like I will be thinking clearly until sometime after my baby is born. I am almost hopeless. If I don't set my alarm on my phone to remind me, I will most likely forget.
Sorry. If I forget to do something just remind me. It happens. Love you all.

Just Remember all things are possible through Christ.

Countdown

Well I am counting down the weeks until our sweet baby girl comes. 9 weeks counting down. We are so greatful to welcome this sweet spirit into our lives. Emilee and Forrest are so excited. Emilee keeps asking if her sister is coming yet. She is eagerly counting down with me.
Sean and I are still figuring out her name, but I think we have narrowed it down to two names.
Kira Michelle Forbush
Angelina Michelle Forbush
I think we are leaning towards the later.

I am so excited, the time is almost near. I think she will come early. I hope she waits long enough so that all her organs are fully developed. I just want a happy healthy baby.

Many of you with new borns know what I mean. A healthy baby makes a happy mommy.

Thanks to all of you for your support.

Tues. March 31st

Well it's count down time. Our baby girl is due in 12 weeks. Still haven't agreed on a name yet. Emilee is getting really excited and Forrest is enjoying playing with his buddy Emilee. They are best friends. Half the time I am seperating them into their own corners and the other half of the time I sit back and watch them play. They get along so well. Emilee is a really good Big Sister. Both Emilee and Forrest are trying their best to help out mommy. I am so proud of them.
Emilee starts school in a few months. She's pretty excited. I'm not sure how Forrest is going to take the separation. He will have a new baby sister to keep him entertained hopefully. Cross your fingers.

February

This month I added a year of wisdom. Although since being pregnant helps loose brain cells maybe I am almost even. I don't know. I am very excited for our upcoming arrival of baby girl. I am counting down the months, 3 1/2 to go. Sean and I haven't pick a name yet. Any suggestions would be great.
I had a Scentsy party this weekend and can't wait to have another in March for the new catalog. Thanks to everyone who came and hung out with the kids and me. Emilee's room was proof of how much fun they had. WOW! I was just excited to have an excuse to have friends over. I still have alot of warmers in my inventory that are still on Sale!
So I refilled my prenatal vitamins today through our new insurance and only had to pay $17! Whooooohooooo!!! Wow. Never thought I would celebrate paying for prescriptions.
On a different note I have some very crafty friends that make the cutest baby crib sets. I am hopping on the band wagon and going to help make some fleece blankets, and maybe some crocheted blankets as well. Anything to try to save up for my lil' baby girl.
Sean is working like a maniac all day and dragging himself to law school 3 nights a week. He is my knight in shining armor. I am so lucky he endures so much to provide for our family. I sure miss having him at home during the weeknights but after 4 years hopefully we can live a little better, meaning not paycheck to paycheck.
Just want to say thanks to everyone that has helped out our family this year. We value your friendship and support. THANKS!

Christmas Greetings

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
This year has brought many blessings to our family. Emilee turned 4 in May. Forrest turned 2 in December. Sean has embarked on a journey through law school while working full time. Darcy is still holding down the fort keeping everyone fed and clothed and making peace during disputes of toys and possessions between Emilee and Forrest. Cody is still chirping as much as possible and occasionally visits us when he is allowed outside his bird cage. Most of the fish are still alive and we have added a new species to our fish tank, an African dwarf frog. I think his name is Froggy. Riley is doing well and asking for attention as usual with begging to play fetch. As for Peanut she has left our family in search for a new one that can better suit her needs. She ate through 3 door moldings and 2 fences. We had put our house on the market to move closer to Sean’s law school and we were having a hard time with Peanut because she didn’t like to be put outside for any period of time for showings. She ate through the fence. We fixed it, and then she did it again. Inside she didn’t like to be left alone for more than an hour. She ate the front door frame twice and the garage door frame once. Nor did she like staying in her crate while I was out of the house. That was enough for us. It was very sad but Peanut had to go back to the SPCA to find a new family.
We found out that we will be adding a new member to our family. We are expecting baby (girl) Forbush on June 24th, 2009.
For Thanksgiving we visited family in Las Vegas and Utah. Emilee and Forrest had a blast playing with cousins both in Las Vegas and Utah.
Emilee played with her cousin Heston and went for nature walks collecting rocks and hunting for bunnies at great grandma Forbush’s house in Monroe. Forrest and Emilee enjoyed going on 4 wheeler rides with Daddy and with Grandpa Craig. After Thanksgiving we drove back to Las Vegas. Sean flew back to Texas to study for his final exams. Darcy and the kids stayed for an additional 2 weeks to visit more with family and let Daddy have the much needed quit time for studying. Sean finished his first semester of law school in December.
Christmas time was wonderful. The kids were spoiled heavily by Grandparents. They were so excited to open up presents. We had to help Forrest find his own presents to open up. He wanted to help open everyone’s presents. Emilee loves unwrapping presents so much she was trying to help Forrest with his. He wouldn’t have that at all. Emilee kept the presents flowing so everyone was happy. What a helper! Forrest received tons of cars and some books. Emilee received a new bike, V-Smile game system, and a few Barbie dolls, and some other toys along with a few books.
The kids play with their new toys almost every day. Darcy is trying to teach them to remember to put the toys away when they are done. Emilee loves riding her bike. She can ride “super fast”. Forrest tries to catch up but he still hasn’t been convinced that using the pedals will help. He is all about using the Flintstone method.
Sean’s boss had a Christmas party at his house. We had all kinds of yummy burritos, tacos, and tamales. The kids played games and earned prizes. They loved it. Sean is really fortunate to work for such a wonderful boss. Good people! We have been extremely blessed to be around so many wonderful people.
For Christmas dinner we had turkey and stuffing because the turkey wasn’t as thawed out as we had hoped. So Christmas lunch changed to Christmas Dinner. By the time it was done we forgot about all the yummy sides we wanted to make. But the turkey and stuffing were absolutely yummy.
For New Years Eve we put the kids to bed and said good night. I think we missed the countdown by 15 minutes. Our latest challenge has been trying to keep the kids in their own beds. We are almost convinced that we will have to get a bigger bed. When the new baby comes someone is not going to be happy. Emilee is usually pretty good at starting in her own bed but finds her way into our bedroom some time in the night. Forrest stays in his bed for about 45 seconds then finds his way to our room with no problem. We try to pretend we are sleeping. After several attempts at my side he wonders over to Sean’s. Then he returns back to me to insist that he is allowed on our bed. Sean and I can’t help but laugh. He is too cute. We sure are lucky to have such loving kids.
We have been blessed this whole year. We are thankful for a loving Heavenly Father who sent His only begotten Son to us. We know that through the sacrifice that Jesus made that we will be able to return to our Father in Heaven. We pray that you and your family are blessed the whole year through. We are certainly thankful to have you in our lives.

Wishing you the Happiest of Holidays,
Sean, Darcy, Emilee, Forrest, and Baby Girl Forbush
