February

This month I added a year of wisdom. Although since being pregnant helps loose brain cells maybe I am almost even. I don't know. I am very excited for our upcoming arrival of baby girl. I am counting down the months, 3 1/2 to go. Sean and I haven't pick a name yet. Any suggestions would be great.
I had a Scentsy party this weekend and can't wait to have another in March for the new catalog. Thanks to everyone who came and hung out with the kids and me. Emilee's room was proof of how much fun they had. WOW! I was just excited to have an excuse to have friends over. I still have alot of warmers in my inventory that are still on Sale!
So I refilled my prenatal vitamins today through our new insurance and only had to pay $17! Whooooohooooo!!! Wow. Never thought I would celebrate paying for prescriptions.
On a different note I have some very crafty friends that make the cutest baby crib sets. I am hopping on the band wagon and going to help make some fleece blankets, and maybe some crocheted blankets as well. Anything to try to save up for my lil' baby girl.
Sean is working like a maniac all day and dragging himself to law school 3 nights a week. He is my knight in shining armor. I am so lucky he endures so much to provide for our family. I sure miss having him at home during the weeknights but after 4 years hopefully we can live a little better, meaning not paycheck to paycheck.
Just want to say thanks to everyone that has helped out our family this year. We value your friendship and support. THANKS!

Christmas Greetings

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
This year has brought many blessings to our family. Emilee turned 4 in May. Forrest turned 2 in December. Sean has embarked on a journey through law school while working full time. Darcy is still holding down the fort keeping everyone fed and clothed and making peace during disputes of toys and possessions between Emilee and Forrest. Cody is still chirping as much as possible and occasionally visits us when he is allowed outside his bird cage. Most of the fish are still alive and we have added a new species to our fish tank, an African dwarf frog. I think his name is Froggy. Riley is doing well and asking for attention as usual with begging to play fetch. As for Peanut she has left our family in search for a new one that can better suit her needs. She ate through 3 door moldings and 2 fences. We had put our house on the market to move closer to Sean’s law school and we were having a hard time with Peanut because she didn’t like to be put outside for any period of time for showings. She ate through the fence. We fixed it, and then she did it again. Inside she didn’t like to be left alone for more than an hour. She ate the front door frame twice and the garage door frame once. Nor did she like staying in her crate while I was out of the house. That was enough for us. It was very sad but Peanut had to go back to the SPCA to find a new family.
We found out that we will be adding a new member to our family. We are expecting baby (girl) Forbush on June 24th, 2009.
For Thanksgiving we visited family in Las Vegas and Utah. Emilee and Forrest had a blast playing with cousins both in Las Vegas and Utah.
Emilee played with her cousin Heston and went for nature walks collecting rocks and hunting for bunnies at great grandma Forbush’s house in Monroe. Forrest and Emilee enjoyed going on 4 wheeler rides with Daddy and with Grandpa Craig. After Thanksgiving we drove back to Las Vegas. Sean flew back to Texas to study for his final exams. Darcy and the kids stayed for an additional 2 weeks to visit more with family and let Daddy have the much needed quit time for studying. Sean finished his first semester of law school in December.
Christmas time was wonderful. The kids were spoiled heavily by Grandparents. They were so excited to open up presents. We had to help Forrest find his own presents to open up. He wanted to help open everyone’s presents. Emilee loves unwrapping presents so much she was trying to help Forrest with his. He wouldn’t have that at all. Emilee kept the presents flowing so everyone was happy. What a helper! Forrest received tons of cars and some books. Emilee received a new bike, V-Smile game system, and a few Barbie dolls, and some other toys along with a few books.
The kids play with their new toys almost every day. Darcy is trying to teach them to remember to put the toys away when they are done. Emilee loves riding her bike. She can ride “super fast”. Forrest tries to catch up but he still hasn’t been convinced that using the pedals will help. He is all about using the Flintstone method.
Sean’s boss had a Christmas party at his house. We had all kinds of yummy burritos, tacos, and tamales. The kids played games and earned prizes. They loved it. Sean is really fortunate to work for such a wonderful boss. Good people! We have been extremely blessed to be around so many wonderful people.
For Christmas dinner we had turkey and stuffing because the turkey wasn’t as thawed out as we had hoped. So Christmas lunch changed to Christmas Dinner. By the time it was done we forgot about all the yummy sides we wanted to make. But the turkey and stuffing were absolutely yummy.
For New Years Eve we put the kids to bed and said good night. I think we missed the countdown by 15 minutes. Our latest challenge has been trying to keep the kids in their own beds. We are almost convinced that we will have to get a bigger bed. When the new baby comes someone is not going to be happy. Emilee is usually pretty good at starting in her own bed but finds her way into our bedroom some time in the night. Forrest stays in his bed for about 45 seconds then finds his way to our room with no problem. We try to pretend we are sleeping. After several attempts at my side he wonders over to Sean’s. Then he returns back to me to insist that he is allowed on our bed. Sean and I can’t help but laugh. He is too cute. We sure are lucky to have such loving kids.
We have been blessed this whole year. We are thankful for a loving Heavenly Father who sent His only begotten Son to us. We know that through the sacrifice that Jesus made that we will be able to return to our Father in Heaven. We pray that you and your family are blessed the whole year through. We are certainly thankful to have you in our lives.

Wishing you the Happiest of Holidays,
Sean, Darcy, Emilee, Forrest, and Baby Girl Forbush
